I find myself unable to watch Pryde of the X-men after repeated viewings and my brother inevitably pointing out that Nightcrawler looks like he's going to molest Kitty.

Well, that and Wolverine with a very bad Australian accent (I mean, c'mon - "Mate"? "Dingo"??).

So far, Evolution's about the only Marvel-based cartoon series I can stomach. (Kurt's /adorable/!)

I dunno. I really loathed POTXM. And personally, I would try to get away quick from any stranger being that friendly to me-. It's just overdone. And I'm not even mentioning the accent....Not even I have an accent quite that bad! Face it, POTXM sucks.


On a brighter note, I did manage to unzip you file! Thanks for the clip, and thanks for the technical hint...You rule, Bcentral!

And why do I seem to remember reading the book?

They did make a graphic novel of the episode. The dialog was a little different, but they used actual screen shots for the pictures.

I thought POTXM was kind of cute. My brother and I laughed out loud through most of it, which maybe wasn't what they intended. To this day, my brother does a perfect imitation of that bizarre expletive that Wolverine uses near the beginning, something along the lines of: "Rrrrrrr-T'uhhh!!"

Plus, Kurt had that noble, self-sacrificing thing going on. The end with him and Colossus was cute. He did kind of look like he wanted to eat Kitty up, though.

The accent was kinda funny for long time fans. But it really didn't bother me.

As for the Kitty and Kurt thing, I never saw that. I know he approached her to kiss her on the hand. As he does to emulate Errol Flynn. I think your brother might be reading too much into that. Kurt was trying to be Charming and Friendly, at least thats what I saw.

I rather enjoyed that he was such a major character in the program, but if I'd never met Kurt and he came toward me with that grin on his face and hunched over like he's gonna pounce me I'd... ah... well, it'd sorta depend on my mood, but you get the point.
